Girls just have to always add a little something to their selfies after taking one. None of my photos will go out on social media platforms without photoshop and filters.

It may seem too much to use the real Photoshop to do such thing every time. So here are some of my favorite apps that have almost the same functions and effects as Adobe's Photoshop.

1. HUJI

Huji literally sends you back to the 70s or even later. The photos that you take with this app are vintage right away and full of memories. You can have the photo right away without any waiting. The biggest advantage of this app is that it's free!

2. B612

Another plastic surgery pro in the app world if you have the right skills and plenty amount of practice time. Facetune can easily achieve almost the same basic things Photoshop does on your phone with your fingers.

You can zoom in your photo really big to get a more complete and careful look. It will make your photo so natural and real that nobody can tell it was photoshopped by you.

I really recommend this one. I just can't say any bad things about this app except that you will have to pay a little money to get it. But comparing the price to its incredible function, the money is still worth it.

5. Foodie

Just the right app for anyone who likes to photograph their food before eating. You just have to click shoot and then the photo will be filtered automatically and ready to go, no more fancy steps needed to make it more professional because it already is.

Just because it's called Foodie doesn't mean you cannot use it on portraits. All you have to do is to explore the right filter to put on people and they are really good too!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
