Starting a new year at a new school can be so scary, especially if you have no idea what you're doing. Whether if it's getting around campus, finding a food court, or understanding the bus routes... it can all be a struggle. Adjusting to the Boiler lifestyle might be stressful but it doesn't have to be! Not only is Purdue the best school in the world,but it also comes with so many helpful tools to make the transition easier. Purdue has so many apps that can help you save money, look up dining court menus, and also figure out that dang bus system. So here are a few apps to help your Purdue experience be a breeze.


1. Pocket Points

When you use pocket points you are literally rewarded just for sitting in class! A certain amount of points gets you discounts to lots of stores and restaurants on campus, including Insomnia cookies (wink wink).

2. Boarding Pass Rewards

If you're big into Purdue sports then you'll love this app. It's simple, go to games and get rewarded! What else could be better than that?

3. Hungry Boiler

Not in the mood to go out and get food? Who is? With this app, you can have your favorite local restaurants be delivered right to your door. How great is that? At some times it can be a little pricy, but most of the times it worth it. Not to mention it's usually open till about 2 am.


4. DoubleMap Bus Tracker

The bus system can be a nightmare if you aren't prepared. With this app it shows you every bus route and even the times. Definitely a necessity if you live off campus or in McCutcheon.


5. Purdue Mobile Menus

Nothing is worse than going to a food court and not finding any good grub. With this app that will never happen. Before you head out on your food hunt, check out this app first to find all of your favorite dishes.


6. The official 'Purdue' app

Obviously, every Boilermaker needs the official Purdue app! The app comes with food court menus, blackboard, laundry room availability, your schedule, and so many more awesome tools. This app is definitely a need for all Purdue students.

This app isn't necessarily just a Purdue app, but if you ever need a good laugh this is an app for that. People can post anything, anytime, about anything. Sounds a little dangerous, but that's what makes it fun.
