40 Types Of Friends Everybody Has In Their Group

I am the type of person that likes to observe a lot.

I tend to analyze groups of friends and understand their relationships; it’s something I like to do because I like to see what types of friends make up certain groups.

Today I decided to name 40 different types of friends that every group has, and here they are:

  1. There’s that friend who takes forever to get ready and is never outside their house when you go pick them up.
  2. There’s the competitive friend who tries hard with everything! From Pokemon-Go, Chess, Heads-Up, basketball, and even school.
  3. We definitely have that friend who is always tired and sleeps everywhere you go with them
  4. Then we have the friend who records everything via Snapchat.
  5. The social media junkie; always on Twitter, FB, Snapchat, Myspace… MYSPACE… and knows everything about those websites.
  6. We have that friend who gets in a relationship and forgets about the group.
  7. There’s always that one friend’s house that we always go to.
  8. The friend whose mom always offers you everything from their house.
  9. Then there’s the popular friend who knows everybody and hooks up the squad with everything.
  10. Then there’s the smart friend who gets straight A’s but doesn’t know how to change a light bulb.
  11. The friend who is always talking about cars.
  12. We can’t forget about the group clown! Always making everybody laugh.
  13. I also can’t forget about the temporaries: the friends who enter and leave the group after 6-18 months.
  14. There are definitely two different people in the group: the one who always dresses with sandals and basketball shorts, and then the one who dresses like they’re going to church all the time.
  15. There’s the friend we always have to feed because they don’t have money, for personal reasons, of course.
  16. The friend who is an expert at everything; whatever you ask them, they know the answer to it.
  17. The friend who gets hammered/high at every party.
  18. I have to mention the friend who is always lost; has no sense of direction.
  19. We ALL have that talkative or super quiet friend.
  20. There’s always somebody in the group with a cracked/chipped phone screen.
  21. There’s definitely a person in your group that eats a whole buffet and does not look like it.
  22. The friend who always gets injured.
  23. We either have that one friend who takes things too far (has no chill), or the friend who is careful about everything they say.
  24. There’s that one friend in the group that is energetic 24/7
  25. We also have that photogenic friend.
  26. We all have the small fry in our group, or the giant.
  27. For some reason, we all have that one friend who laughs too loud/hard at everything.
  28. There’s the DJ in our group: the friend who always knows what song to put.
  29. The chauffer: they drive everybody everywhere.
  30. There’s the gym rat.
  31. The friend who has awesome plans for the group.
  32. The friend who never sleeps!
  33. The friend who is an only child.
  34. The friend who is a chick/man magnet; they can get anybody they want because they’re extremely attractive.
  35. The friend you really don’t talk to in the group unless somebody invites them over, then you communicate with them.
  36. The friend who always has a busy schedule.
  37. The friend who always wears tank tops.
  38. There’s always two friends in the group that are super close to each other.
  39. The friend whose phone is always dying/dead.
  40. The friend who is always sick.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
