Looking for a new place to around campus? Here are some places USF has to offer that you might not know about.
1. Top of the Palm
Tired of the same dining hall food or the food options on campus? Want a gourmet-style food? What many students don’t know about is that there is a gourmet style Buffett on the 3rd floor of the MSC. It offers different menu options every day ranging from a grilled salmon to fresh carved lamb. Each day there seems to be a new theme for the food. Onto of the gourmet food, there is a wide variety of desserts as well. The cost of the “Top of the Palm” restaurant is only $8.79 dining dollars. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to change up their meals even once in a while.
2. Skypad Gaming Room
Are you into gaming? Just wanna change your studying environment? The Skypad Gaming Room is located on the 4th floor behind the Skypad Lounge. The room consists of private video gaming stations, comfortable chairs, and individual sound systems. In addition, this space includes a large lounge area featuring study tables, white-boards, vending machines, and a microwave. Large high-definition televisions are provided for both educational and recreational purposes.
3. Looking for a good sandwich?
Tired of Subway? Over in the School of Business, on the bottom floor, there's a Boars Head Deli. They offer all your favorite boars head lunch meats and cheeses. Right next to the deli is a Java City as well. They offer all of your caffeine needs! The perfect thing about this place is that sometimes the lines aren’t nearly as long as other places since not many people know about it.
4. Basement of Library
The basement of the library houses the Federal and State Government Documents print collections, maps, and the Reference Annex, as well as the technical service sections of the Library. You can also find vinyl in the basement. Inside of the new compact shelves, you’ll be able to find print periodicals.
