1. Tree lighting ceremonies at Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, and the Market Commons.
If you've ever traveled to Myrtle Beach, there's a 99.9 percent chance that you've spent some days and nights taking in the sights at these 3 places. Well, they are all still popular in the winter among locals, because there are tall Christmas trees and holiday decorations throughout these places. Broadway, Market Commons, and Barefoot all have tree lighting ceremonies in late November or early December which are super fun to see, and the trees stay lit for everyone to enjoy through the season.
2. The Great Christmas Light Show
Located in Broadway at the Beach is Ripley’s Aquarium, where during the month of December there are over 75 decorated Christmas trees on display. What’s cool about it, besides that there are that many trees, is that there are trees that are decorated to represent all 50 states. It sounds like a lot of fun, who doesn't love Christmas trees?
3. Nights of a Thousand Candles at Brookgreen Gardens
This place is sure to inspire some pictures that could work for your Christmas cards. Brookgreen Gardens is in Murrell’s Inlet, only a 20-minute drive from the city of Myrtle Beach, but this garden is so worth it. During Christmas time, acres of pathways filled with oak trees and plants and flowers get covered in hundreds of thousands of lights. It's too pretty to put in words, so I just suggest that if you want a beautiful night with holiday cheer, go check out Night of a Thousand Candles.
