Riverdale, the new CW mystery, has quickly gained a large following. The first complete season is already on Netflix and the show was quickly renewed for a second season. Now that the whole season is more available, there are several reason why fans of shows like Pretty Little Liars and Gossip Girl now have a new show to binge this summer.

1. Archie Comics

Most people know, but this amazing show is based off the original and famous Archie comics that all of us know and love. Obviously the show is nothing like the comics, but it's fun to see our favorite characters in a completely different setting and on a new adventure.

2. Bughead

Fans of the comics obviously know that their is a major love triangle between the three main characters, however, it's not like that on this show. Betty and Jughead quickly develop feelings for each other and remain pretty stable throughout. They are super supportive of each other and are true soulmates.

3. Cole Sprouse

This childhood throwback plays one of the iconic roles on this show. Seeing his transformation is amazing and can I just say that he has aged extremely well. That black hair is not easy on the eyes.

4. The cast

We all watch a lot of amazing TV shows, but it makes a show a lot more special if the cast has good chemistry on AND off screen. I love watching cast interviews and just seeing how well everyone get along. It definitely show in their acting that they truly enjoy working with each other.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
