Having curly hair can be frustrating from time to time. Not only is it hard to manage, but having it down all the time can get very repetitive and boring. Here are some hairstyles to help switch up your look.
1. Half up/half down
This is very simple style to do with straight hair, however it can get very tangled with curly hair prior. Just be sure to finger de-tangle your hair. You are simply going grab your pointer fingers and collect the hair from the tip of your ears. Drag your fingers in a straight line and collect that hair and put it in a pony tail.
Now you could just leave it here, but for a second hairstyle you can do the half bun half down. Take your pony tail and wrap it around it self to achieve a bun. Use bobby pins if needed to clean up the look. For both looks you can decide how high or low you want your bun or ponytail to be.
2. Double pony tail
If you have short curly hair, this look will make your hair appear longer. You want to start off by making two vertical sections in your hair. You will be making two pony tails on top of one another. Take the hair by the nape of your neck and make a low pony tail. Now with the remaining hair at the top, you are going to make a slightly higher pony tail. The top pony tail should conceal the one on the bottom.
If volume is not an issue for you, you can stick with the standard ponytail.
You can try to spice up your pony tail by adding scarves or head bands around your head. You can even use those patterned "90's" styled scrunchies to complete the look.
3. Changing your hair part
You would be surprised at how your hair looks in a different part. I used to only part my hair one way, but it got boring after a while. To "un-train" it from its original part, you have to get in the habit of not parting your hair when it is wet. This way you could move your hair from part to part with ease.
4. The Bun
