College students, between the ages of 18 and 22, have reported to be the highest percentage of coffee drinkers.
There is no lie in that college students are stressed and overworked. When staying up until three in the morning in the library cramming for the chemistry exam, coffee becomes your best friend. But how is that possible when every coffee shop within a 20 mile radius is closed? Fear not, because the coffee carts are coming your way (maybe).
1. Grab-n-go!
Coffee carts are the perfect one-stop stop shop to grab a quick snack while bustling to class. 31 million Americans skip breakfast every day, and 28 percent of males between the ages 18 and 34 especially skip breakfast. With a coffee cart on campus, students will be able to run by, grab something and then head off to class in a jiffy. This is especially important because, more often than not, the coffee shops in the dining hall become crowded and you are stuck waiting for coffee or a breakfast sandwich in ABP for at least 30 minutes.
2. Starbucks (or any other coffee brands) will follow you around all day and supply you with endless amounts of caffeine.
What’s better than having Starbucks trail you all around campus? I’ll leave that up to you, but when you’re feeling down, Starbucks is always there to pick you back up with your favorite iced caramel macchiato. Schools like Arizona State University, James Madison University and Coastal Carolina University have all adapted coffee carts/trucks on campus to follow students around at popular destinations on campus. It works!
3. Profits will increase for both the coffee companies and your college campus.
Approximately it would lead to profits increasing by 3 percent.
