Fall: virtually every ones' favorite season, and when mother nature trades the blistering hot days for crisp, cool and cozy ones. The best parts about fall vary for everyone, for me fall consists of traveling, snapping the best photos, cool-weather foods and over-sized sweaters. Considering fall is just around the corner, here are a few things I find essential during the fall season.

1. Travel

Autumn's crisp air and bright changing, colors inspire every type of traveler to embrace the outdoors. Take advantage of the cooler weather and admire the fall foliage by taking a hike or even a road trip. Estes Park, Colorado is one of the first fall destinations that comes to my mind, with its picturesque historic town and majestic mountains blanketed in red and gold leaves. Stroll alongside Elkhorn Avenue with first glances of tourist shops, galleries and restaurants. Grab a coffee and head out the backdoor of the shops for a relaxing Riverwalk.

When I think of fall, I immediately think of celebrating the annual elk rut that Estes Park, Colorado hosts. While this may be one of my family's many fall traditions, taking time out of our busy schedules, making the hour and a half trip up to mountain to Estes wraps up the fall season. Nothing screams fall like the chilly days in Estes, drinking a Pumpkin Spice Latte while watch the leaves change colors and the Elk bugle in the distance.

2. Snapping the best photos

Did you really do Fall if you didn't post it on the Gram? Fall is hands down the most photogenic season of the year; astonishing autumnal colors and magnificent misty mornings. Whether you grab a snapshot of your favorite latte in a cute little coffee shop, a photo shoot of you and your friends jumping around in a pile of leaves, or even your cat dressed up in a pumpkin costume fall is the time to get out your iPhone and capture the beauty of the foliage. To capture Instagram-worthy, iPhone photos of beautiful landscapes, changing leaves and tree this fall, I recommend using the app, VSCO, for cozy, warm filters that will surely give that fall vibe. Trending photos for Fall 2016 consist of shooting the mist and fog, creating a mysterious and dramatic story, outdoor portraits, using the leaves and the colors of the season as a backdrop, and single leaf photography, creating a strong subject that is often more powerful than a group of leaves together.

3. Cooking Time Equals Family Time

Embrace the cool weather with cozy fall meals and desserts. Comfort food to soothe the soul and decadent desserts to keep everyone full. When I think of fall, I think of traditions and memories being made; I think of gathering together with my family, making a delicious meals like pot roast or chili, while anxiously waiting for the first episode of the newest season of The Walking Dead to come on. This tradition started several years ago when TWD first aired. Knowing that every Sunday night would be spent making dinner, watching our favorite show and ending our night with a delicious fall dessert made the-night-before-Monday all the more enjoyable.

4. Sweater Weather

The sweater is the universal symbol for fall. During this season, you can find almost everything dressed in fall marital. The best part about the sweater is that it can be worn with anything. Over-sized sweaters, leggings, and boats are anyone's' go to comfy, but cute outfit of the day during fall. With this simple style you can dress it up with cute booties and a scarf, or dress it down it Converse, long, fuzzy socks and a beanie. Pintrest is the place to go for inspiration and updates on the latest trends.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
