In my humble opinion.

Everyone loves scrolling through Instagram in their free time, and most of us follow a number of bloggers and influencers, but how many of us follow animal accounts? Well, I sure do, and they are the overall best! A lot of people just follow dogs or cats or other animals that they would consider to be their favorite. Surprisingly though, a lot of people do not venture past that into the vast world of other cute, fluffy and adorable animals in the Instagram world that might not come to your mind right away.

1. Pickles (@livingwithpickles)

Pickles is, in my honest opinion, the worlds cutest Insta-pig to walk the face of the earth. Not only is he cute, but he's also whip-smart. Some of his tricks even include playing the piano. You get a glimpse into the everyday life of living with a pig. He even wears bow ties! His mom just recently adopted two ducklings- names Cheese and Quackers, how cute is that- and she also has a pet doggo named Dill. So, with Pickles, you get triple the fun for one follow! Totally worth it.

2. Dogs in Food (@dogs_infood)

Okay, yes this is I guess this is a dog account but its hilarious. I bet some of you even had to do a double take to find the sweet pup taking a little power nap on this donut! When then popped up on my feed the other day I couldn't help but smile. This is just one of the amazing photoshops that the account posts often and they are always on par with this one! You can even DM them and ask them to photoshop your own sweet pupper into a picture of food. What more could you want?!

3. Happy Hens & Highlands (@happyhensandhighlands)

This account is dedicated to cows like sweet Timmy pictured above. Most of the cows who live on the farm are docile and super sweet, and they get to roam the fields and eat grass to their heart's content, all while looking like the sweetest, cuddliest animals alive. They often post videos of the cows doing a number of different things such as receiving love, eating and just living their best lives. Totally worth a follow for these adorable, shaggy cows.

4. Marathon Turtle Hospital (@marathonturtehospital)

This turtle hospital, based in the Florida Keys, is always uplifting and fun to follow. They share the journies of several turtles as they are rehabilitated and later released into the wild. They share stories of rescue, take you along on the medial font and show you how they treat the animals, and finally, they include their followers in the release. They also share the times, dates, and locations for releases so if you ever find yourself in the keys, check and see if they are releasing one of these beautiful animals during their stay.

Animals are entertaining and these accounts, whether it be a dog on a donut or a cow farm, will make you smile the next time you find yourself mindlessly scrolling.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
