I don't know about you guys, but my boyfriend is a total nerd. Yes, at times he can be a little embarrassing, but watching him do his nerd stuff makes me love him even more. Because he is so passionate about certain things, I've realized that that's how he treats me, too. Like I am rare.

When these types of guys come into your life, they change you for the better. I mean, I would not be as obsessed over "Gotham" if it was not for him. Being with him has brought some new joys into my life.

1. You find new passions

You never know what you really like unless someone gets you to do it. Nerds introduce you to a lot of new things. The fun thing about these new things is that they have to do it. They get so passionate that you want to join in, and it makes you find new things you like.

2. All the Netflix

Instead of watching "Gossip Girl" and other shows like that, you get introduced to other shows or movies that you would not normally watch, like anime or some sci-fi movie. You are not going to like everything they get you to watch, but the majority of it you will.

3. Obsessions

They obsess over little things like Batman and card games, and you eventually find yourself looking at things to fill their obsessions. Whether it's pajamas or a card box, you ask them if they want it just to make them happy. You even find yourself buying some of the obsessions for yourself.

4. Games

Even if you liked video games before, you find a new obsession over them because of your nerd. You get excited when they buy a new game and you get to check it out with them, or if they buy a new controller just so you can play the games with them.

So lets admit it, having a nerd as a boyfriend is actually the best!
