Song Lyrics Update

Music today is thriving with all of the new and amazing talents that have emerged, but every once in a while, I like to take a break from The Weeknd and Justin Bieber to throw it back.

A lot of the time, we forget about the songs we grew up on, and I'm going to revisit my favorite throwback songs from my generation.

1. "Sexy Can I" - Ray J (feat. Yung Berg)

2. "Obsessed" - Mariah Carey

3. "Replay" - Iyaz

4. "In My Head" - Jason Derulo

5. "Down On Me" - Jeremih (feat. 50 Cent)

6. "Good Girls Go Bad" - Cobra Starship (feat. Leighton Meester)

7. "Buttons" - Pussycat Dolls

8. "Best Love Song" - T-Pain (feat. Chris Brown)

9. "Smack That" - Akon (feat. Eminem)

10. "No Scrubs" - TLC

11. "No Diggity" - Blackstreet (feat. Dr. Dre and Queen Pen)

I have no idea if anyone my age would even recognize the original song and not the Pitch Perfect version, but I know every word.

12. "Fallin'" - Alicia Keys

13. "Low" - Flo Rida (feat. T-Pain)

14. "Airplanes" - B.o.B (feat. Hayley Williams)

15. "Cooler Than Me" - Mike Posner

16. "Cyclone" - Baby Bash (feat. T-Pain)

17. "Lighters" - Bad Meets Evil (feat. Bruno Mars)

18. "Coming Home" - Diddy (feat. Dirty Money and Skylar Grey)

19. "Suga Suga" - Baby Bash (feat. Frankie J)

20. "Tipsy" - J-Kwon

21. "Beautiful Soul" - Jesse McCartney

22. "Hey There Delilah" - Plain White T's

23. "When I Grow Up" - Pussycat Dolls

Everyone who had Just Dance! for the Wii, could probably still do the dance if they really tried.

24. "With You" - Chris Brown

25. "Crank That (Soulja Boy)" - Soulja Boy

Most people's middle school self could vibe to this song even today.

26. "Yeah" - Usher (feat. Lil Jon and Ludacris)

27. "Beautiful Girls" - Sean Kingston

Shame on you if you can't sing this whole song.

28. "DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love" - Usher (feat. Pitbull)

29. "MMMBop" - Hanson

This song would normally be a little before me, but because my mom had this CD when I was a kid, this was my jam.

30. "Telephone" - Lady Gaga

31. "Bottoms Up" - Trey Songz (feat. Nicki Minaj)

32. "Down" - Jay Sean

This was the jam in 2009, my friend.

33. "Umbrella" - Rihanna

34. "My Humps" - Black Eyed Peas

35. "No Air" - Jordin Sparks (feat. Chris Brown)

36. "Irreplaceable" - Beyonce

This will always be a jam.

37. "Let Me Love You" - Mario

One of the greatest throwbacks in existence. Just saying. Some might say it's a dime plus 99 ;)

On the note of that funny pun I just threw in there, I'm going to end the list. These are just some of my personal favorites and I'm sure not everyone will like the ones I picked, but that's okay. If you have a long car ride coming up or just need something to listen to while getting ready for the day, these are good for both those, and many other things! If you would like to listen to all of these, I have made a Spotify playlist and I'll put the link down below!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
