If I could go back in time and relive my innocent high school days, I can't say that I would choose to. Now, if I could go back in time and give my high school self some words of advice I would definitely not pass up the opportunity. Here are 37 things I wish I could tell my high school self.

1. That boy will most likely not be a part of your life in a few years, so don't let him consume it now.

2. Don't worry about the little things.

3. Take your grades seriously, you will regret not trying hard enough when you're applying to colleges senior year.

4. Call your grandma every once in a while, just to say hi.

5. If he cheats on you, do not go back to him.

6. Don't forget to hug your mom.

7. Take your younger siblings to ice cream or spend the day with them every once in a while. You will miss being able to watch them grow up once you're out of the house.

8. Never pretend to be someone you're not.

9. Embrace your inner self, anyone who doesn't like you for you isn't worth keeping around.

10. Tell your favorite teachers how much you appreciate them.

11. Nothing good happens after midnight.

12. Learn your limits, especially when it comes to alcohol.

13. Don't feed into drama, your life will be so much easier if you learn to ignore the gossip.

14. Never pregame a school event.

15. Don't let a boy come between a friendship.

16. Apply to as many colleges as possible, better safe than sorry.

17. Stop thinking you know everything.

18. Your mom is almost always right, as hard as that might be to admit.

19. Thank your parents often, even for the smallest things.

20. He is not the love of your life.

21. Get a job and save money for college, you'll need it.

22. I know sometimes it might seem like the end of the world but I promise you it's not.

23. Enjoy home cooked meals while you can.

24. If your parents say no, it's probably for a good reason.

25. Don't be afraid to talk to your mom about things. She was your age too once.

26. If you don't think you're ready to have sex, you definitely aren't.

27. But when you are ready, make sure it's with a guy you're okay with having to remember for the rest of your life.

28. Don't choose a college based on where your friends are going, choose the one that makes you feel at home.

29. It's okay if you lose a friend here or there. It doesn't mean you're a bad person, that's just life.

30. Try your best to see the good in people, but don't be too naive.

31. Stop subtweeting, nothing good comes out of it.

32. Not everyone you meet will like you, learn to live with it.

33. Don't be afraid to tell someone you like how you feel.

34. If you get rejected, it wasn't meant to be. Dust yourself off and move on.

35. Do what makes you happy, not anybody else.

36. Make mistakes and learn from them.

37. High school isn't the best four years of your life, but enjoy them because from time to time you will miss it.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
