Weekend-cation: a vacation that lasts Friday, Saturday and Sunday with Friday and Sunday being travel days.

As summer turns to fall, the weekends off given by school/work become more precious. Despite the time limit of the actual vacation, the need for outfits that would fit every situation possible is still there. Here are some things that every person who takes a weekend-cation goes through:

1. Alrighty, let's get started packing.

2. Undergarments in first.

3. Exactly how many t-shirts do I need?

4. Three days...so three t-shirts?

5. I'll take four just in case.

6. Wait this one’s cute.

7. Fine, five.

8. Need black Nike shorts for these two tops and my maroon Nike shorts for the other three.

9. Wait this shirt would go better with the pink Nike shorts.

10. So three pairs of shorts.

11. And what to wear when going out...?

12. Ugh, I have no clothes.

13. Is there time to go shopping?

14. Have I been paid yet?

15. Never mind. Broke.

16. No white tops. We know what happens (#pastasauce).

17. Black top or blue top....

18. Have I Instagrammed any of these?

19. Wait I've Instagrammed the blue one.

20. But it's so cute.

21. Will Valencia change the color of this?

22. Whatever I’ll take it. Instagram will just have to deal.

23. Ooo, the coral top is cute too.

24. Into the bag they go!

25. Black shorts. White shorts.

26. And now shoes....

27. 100% not wearing heels.

28. And I’ll need both of my sandals.

29. And my comfy shoes.

30. Will I need my sneakers?

31. Might as well take them.

32. OK, so four pairs of shoes for three days...seems reasonable.

33. Makeup. Straightener. Toothbrush.

34. And now my bag won't close. Great.

35. Finally ready to go. Let’s get this weekend started!

About halfway to your destination

36. Maybe I should have taken the black top...
