So, you've decided to get a tattoo! There are probably about a million thoughts running through your head about the process. Here's a glimpse into what went through my head when getting a tattoo for the first time!
1. OK, today's the day. I've been talking about getting a tattoo forever and I'm finally going to do it.
2. This tattoo shop is so cool, I am definitely the least cool person in here.
3. Look at all of the designs on the walls! Do people actually get these?
4. I'm starting to get super nervous, why did I think this was a good idea?
5. Maybe I should have a glass of water, that'll definitely calm me down.
6. How long have I been sitting here?
7. I love looking at all of the tattoos people have in here; I want to know why they got them.
8. OK, I'm still freaking out, let's have another cup of water.
9. And now I really have to pee.
10. I hope they don't call my name while I'm in the bathroom.
11. Phew, they didn't call my name.
12. Oh my god, they're calling my name!
13. Wait, how much is this going to cost??
14. It's worth the money. This is going to be on my body forever and I want to make sure it's done right.
15. I hope my artist doesn't judge me for my tattoo.
16. Side note: All of the artists are super hot. Is it a requirement to have a ridiculously good looking person tattoo people?
17. Oh my god, we're in the room now. Is it too late to change my mind?
18. She's putting the design on me. How much will she hate it if I change the placement a few times?
19. This is going to be on my body forever, I want to make sure it's perfect.
20. Ah! The placing looks great, let's do this!
21. She's turning on the needle, I might pee my pants.
22. This actually doesn't hurt that badly! I thought it would be so much worse.
23. Just kidding, ow! That was definitely right on my bone.
24. And now it doesn't hurt really anymore.
25. And we're done! I can't wait to see how it looks!!

29. Oh my god, it's perfect! I am so obsessed with this.
30. I will literally love it until the day I die.
31. It's being wrapped up now -- and I forgot to take a picture!
32. Well, I guess I'll stare at it tomorrow morning.
33. Wait, I didn't know I needed antibacterial soap and non-scented lotion. I guess I'm stopping at Target on the way home.
