The Academy Awards were Sunday night on February 26th, making it the 89th Academy Awards show. The whole show lasted quite a long time, leading to all of us being very tired on Monday morning. The 89th Academy Awards were one for the books and kept us awake the whole time. Jimmy Kimmel took the lead as the host of the show, keeping us laughing. We can all look up who won what awards the next morning, but we can't relive the little things that make the Academy Awards what they are. The 89th Academy Awards go down in the books as one of the best of all times. Why? Because they were more relatable than ever. . . and plenty other reasons.
