32 Reasons Why You Should Be A Runner

1. Your calves will look amazing.

2. Maybe not at first but you'll feel good afterward.

3. If there is a zombie apocalypse you will stand a pretty good chance of surviving.

After all, cardio is the very first rule on Columbus's Rules to Surviving "Zombieland". The first ones to go in a zombie apocalypse are the slow and stupid. So if you start running now and are not an imbecile, I'd say you have a 50/50 shot. Who do you want to be Daryl Dixon, Andrea (slow in the head), or this kid from Zombieland.

Yeah, nobody wants to be this guy.

4. Speaking of zombie's, did you know there's a running app called "Zombies, Run!" that can make it seem as if zombie's are chasing you while you run?

Practice makes perfect. Well, as perfect as one can get in a zombie infected world.

5. Running releases endorphin's to the emotion center of your brain that will help make you happy!

6. You won't have such a hard time getting up the stairs at school.

7. You'll get in shape.

8. You won't be a complete couch potato anymore.

9. It can help get you started on losing your freshmen 15.

10. Climbing those stairs and walking around campus all day long didn't really earn you that sonic blast like you've convinced yourself. But if you start running, you might earn it ... eventually.

11. It doesn't matter if you're slow and people are passing you up, you're still doing something!

12. Nobody really cares if you look crazy while doing it.

Even if they do, so what? They're just jealous that you got yourself out there and are doing what they know they probably should be doing.

13. Your heart will LOVE you again, at least for the duration of your workout.

14. Eventually, you will love it!

15. You can run with friends and pump each other up!

16. Or you can run by yourself and know you're doing something good just for you.

17. Cute exercise gear!

18. Did I mention your calves?

19. You'll feel strong enough and fast enough to run a marathon ... even though you're probably not just yet.

20. Cramps? What Cramps?

21. Running helps keep you feeling and looking young!

22. You'll be proud of yourself when you start to notice your growing stacks of busted up sneakers and running gear.

23. Exercise is the best high there is.

24. You'll drink more water. Trust me you need it!

25. You'll finally have a real reason to drink those sports drinks you love so much.

26. Have a lot of headaches? Running can help.

It doesn't always work, but it is a different option to constantly popping painkillers.

27. Running can reduce stress, which is something as college students, I think we could all use a lot more of.

28. It's a way to do The Schoolhouse Rock Circulation!

29. You can literally find motivation everywhere in anything!

30. It can help stimulate your brain.

31. It strengthens your bones.

32. Did I mention my calves, I mean your calves, your calves.

I'M PUMPED! ARE YOU PUMPED?! LET'S GET PUMPED!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
