Every year most of us make a New Years Resolution and fail to keep it. Just so you can feel accomplished, here are some New Years Resolutions that aren't hard to commit to:

1. Eat at least one fruit or veg a day.

2. Contemplate exercising.

3. Only eat pizza when you’re drunk.

4. Don’t snooze your alarm.

5. Do your laundry once a week.

6. Make a schedule (following it is optional).

7. Shop only when you need something.

8. Tell people you love them more often.

9. Read a book for fun (children’s books count).

10. Don’t consciously wait to text someone back.

11. Don’t be the drunkest one at the party.

12. Dance more.

13. Pet every dog you see.

14. Don’t bad mouth celebrities (unless it’s Donald Trump).

15. Be honest.

16. Order a tall instead of a grande.

17. Make phone calls more often.

18. Only skip your big lectures.

19. Don’t eat your roommate’s food.

20. Swipe right for people you know even if they’re weird.

21. Attempt to remember people’s names.

22. Don’t complain about the quality of the jungle juice.

23. Tip the nice bartenders.

24. Avoid people wearing cargo shorts.

25. Don’t forget your mom’s birthday again.

26. Watch a bunch of food videos, but don’t actually cook.

27. Improve your beer pong skills.

28. Don’t make your group project partners do all of the work (just most).

29. Perfect the MLA format.

30. Don’t take the last fresh-baked cookie in the dining hall.

31. Don’t stress about eating alone.

32. Help your friends keep their New Years resolutions.

Best of luck and happy 2016!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
