Fidget spinners have seemingly become the latest trend overnight.

Suddenly, they are being sold in every convenience store and on every street corner. They are getting banned in schools and are causing injuries to some that use them. As a college student that no longer keeps up with toy trends (although this is an object that is being used by children, teenagers and adults alike), I have never actually held or used a fidget spinner, but if I could talk to a fidget spinner, I would ask at least 30 questions.

Here they are:

1. What are you actually used for? I've heard way too many different things.

2. Or are you supposed to do all of these different things? Seriously, help me out here.

3. Why are there thousands of different fidget spinners being sold?

4. Why are you now sold in every store I go to?

5. Also, why have the tables I usually pass by that sell handbags and caricatures in the city now filled with hundreds of you?

6. Are you really more useful than a handbag?

7. Are you more fun to get than a caricature?

8. Can we hang you on the wall and admire you like one?

9. Why are some of you injuring people?

10. Seriously, do you know people have needed surgery because of you?

11. Are you aware that you're also being blamed for causing a fire in a home?

12. Are you even worth it?

13. How many tricks can you really do?

14. How long do people actually play with you for?

15. Do they get bored after five minutes?

16. Oh wait, that's part of the reason people use you, right?

17. I'm still unclear on your purpose to be completely honest.

18. I just want to take the time to tell you I really don't understand you.

19. You want me to give you a try?

20. No thanks, I'm good.

22. Are you like the newest Tamagotchi? I remember when those were banned at my school.

23. How long do you think you'll last?

24. Have people placed bets on this?

25. Why is it that when I type "who in" into the Google search bar, "who invented the fidget spinner" is the first result that comes up?

26. Do you know that while you're becoming the most popular gadget, the woman who invented you is struggling financially?

27. Does this not upset anyone else?

28. How can you possibly last longer than a month?

29. When will people stop obsessing over you?

30. Can you please just leave everyone alone? Asking for a friend.
