Growing up, my childhood revolved around watching these classic movies. They inspired me to be my best self. Here is a list my personal favorites.

1. Double Teamed (2002)

The movie that motivated all girls to play sports.


2.The Cheetah Girls (2003)

"We are sistas, we stand together!"


3. Smart House (1999)

We all wanted to live in this house!


4. Life-Size (2000)

Was I the only one that wished for my dolls to come alive?


5. Halloweentown (1998)

I was truly convinced I was a witch after watching this.


6. The Thirteenth Year (1999)

Every time I wash my hands, I check for scales!


7. The Luck of the Irish (2001)

The movie that showed us that our differences are to be embraced!


8. Motocrossed (2001)

Taught us that women can do anything men can do!



9. Quints (2000)

Family can be hard, but not having them is harder.


10. Cadet Kelly (2002)

Hard work pays off!


11. Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century (1999)

"Zoom zoom zoom, make my heart go boom boom, my supernova girl."


12. Get a Clue (2002)

We all wanted to solve mysteries after this!


13. Under Wraps (1997)

Friendship at its best!



14. Johnny Tsunami (1999)

I honestly was super impressed how fast Johnny picked up skiing.



15. Eddie's Million Dollar Cook-Off (2003)

I still want to try the purple goop stuff that they made!

I questioned everything after watching this.


17. Mom's Got a Date With a Vampire (2000)

Keep an open mind for what might happen next.

Sometimes you have talents you didn't even know you possessed.


19. The Color of Friendship (2000)

The color of your skin does not change - your mind can change.


20. My Date With the President's Daughter (1998)

Has anyone else imagined this happening to each of the Presidents' kids?

Don't forget where you come from!


22. You Wish! (2003)

Be careful what you wish for!


23. High School Musical (2006)

When the first day of high school wasn't filled with countless singing and dance numbers, I knew these four years would be rough.


24. Rip Girls (2000)


True friendship can be found anywhere.


25. Phantom of the Megaplex (2000)

This movie needs more recognition. Even though I was scared to go to the movies for awhile.


26. Going to the Mat (2004)

Don't let your limitations control who you want to be.


27. Right on Track (2003)

Encourage each other to not give up, and stray away from gender stereotypes.


28. Buffalo Dreams (2005)

Cultures might make us different, but don't separate us.


29. Miracle in Lane 2 (2000)

Miracles come in all different shapes and sizes.


30. Brink! (1998)

Friends don't judge you for who you are.
