Freshman year has gone by in the blink of an eye. New friends, great memories, and countless laughs. Whoever thought it would come to an end? With summer starting soon, and finals almost over, these are the five things I am going to miss about Villanova.
1. The Spit
This is a landmark location on Villanova's campus. It never fails to provide you with the tastiest pasta, yummiest stir fry, and the freshest fruit. Although other locations to eat such as the Pit or Conolley Center have delicious options, nothing will ever top the Spit's variety.
2. Being a 500ft walk from all of my friends.
South campus is a beautiful place because everyone lives right next to each other. You know everyone is a freshman, and that makes you feel more comfortable. On sunny days everyone lays outside, lounging around or playing football. A strong sense of community forms on South freshman year. It's so easy to walk into a building and say 'hi' to 10+ people you know. However, over the summer people are going to be scattered all across the globe....how will I survive?
3. The gym is so close, you almost feel bad if you don't go!
Gyms are conveniently located throughout campus, and are less than a few steps away. The fact that the gyms are so close only encourage you to go more often. Its difficult at home because you often are too lazy to even take yourself to the gym in the first place.
