1. Movies in the park.
For only five dollars a person and five dollars for parking, this event is extremely affordable. People are allowed in at 6:30 pm to find seating. The movie will start rain or shine as soon as it gets dark. I would recommend that you go sooner rather than later because eventually they reach maximum capacity and you might not get in.
This is a great date idea, family outing, or fun thing to do with your friends. Enjoy some fine dining with other fellow Seattleites by eating from food trucks from all around town while watching one of your favorite movies on the giant inflatable movie screen.

2. Marymoor Park concerts!
All summer long, Marymoor Park hosts concerts at one of the cutest outdoor venues. It’s an extremely casual and fun atmosphere for people that enjoy something a little more relaxing. Many people choose to come with food and blankets and enjoy the concert from the grass while eating even more food from the food trucks and drinking from the beer and wine tents. Here is a list of the various food trucks that will be making appearances throughout the summer. My personal favorites are Grilled Cheese Experience, Full Tilt Ice Cream, and Yummy Tummy Thai. I think it’s important to mention that most of these food trucks have been rated by Seattle Magazine as some of the best food trucks in Seattle. 107.7’s two day concert series is hosted at Marymoor Park as well! Some of the bands that will be performing are Young the Giant, Awolnation, and Kongos. Some of the concerts that happened already or will be happening this summer are: The Lumineers, Weezer, Rebelution, J Boog, and Fitz & The Tantrums. Ticket prices vary, but are always extremely affordable and well worth it.
3. The dog park
Marymoor has one of the nicest dog parks I have ever been to. My dog Molly Moon loves going to Marymoor. The off leash area is huge. Marymoor Park’s website boasts that they have over 40 acres of off leash dog area and that it has been dubbed, “Doggy Disneyland.” There are also tons of spots down the river where the dogs are able to swim and make friends. Right next to the dog park is a cleaning station called Wash Spot where you are able to clean your dog before or after they play outside! The Spot Wash is $8.75 and the Max Wash is $13.50.
