As I enter into my senior year of college, extremely scared and sad to be done with college and knowing I'll soon have to enter into the so-called "real world". I know several of my friends that are in the same position feel the same way, but not everyone is going to feel the same. Here are the three different kinds of people that enter into senior year of college.
1. The Anxious Student Not Ready to Graduate
I identify with this person the most out of everyone. This person generally doesn't know what they're supposed to do after they graduate; get a job, go to grad school, whether to move in with their parents or not. Thankfully for us stressed out students, we do have almost a full year of time before graduating and plenty of time to figure out what others do after graduating. We have many options, as well as time, to figure out what to do. Jobs are earned in the strangest of ways sometimes, and school will always be there. I truly believe that we're gonna be ok.
2. The Student Who Knows Exactly What They're Doing After Graduation
The people who have jobs lined up and those who already have several options as to what graduate school they could go to before the school year even starts. These are the people that are almost too prepared for being adults. These are the people my fellow "anxious students" will spend their last year hating, but if you're someone who feels better with a plan, good for you.
3. The Person Who's Ready to get out of that Place
Granted, these people probably chose the wrong school to go to if they're that ready to get out of school. These are people that are super ready for the "world", but don't have any specific plan. They're ready for change, no matter what that change looks like.
Entering into this newest big change in our lives, we are all a little apprehensive, and a little excited. Can't wait to see where you end up, Class of 2017.
