Relationships can be so scary. Before you dive right into one, you need to have a clear and happy mind. These tips will help you find a happy and health relationship.

Self Love

Before you love anyone else, you must love yourself first. Once you accept yourself for who you are, it helps you look for someone who is as loving as you. Loving yourself makes you feel less stressed and anxious too! We all have rough days and toxic past relationships, but the love you give yourself will help you move past that. The past is in the past, it is not your future. When you love yourself, you don't need another person's approval or consent on the way you feel about yourself. Self love is your key to a positive relationship. Just being good to yourself will help boost your confidence and set your priorities straight.

Be Ready To Be Completely Honest With Your Partner

I cannot stress enough the importance of honesty. If you are honest and vulnerable with your partner, things will be so much easier! This helps you connect in ways youve never experienced before. It can be terrifying telling someone about all of your insecurities, problems, and fears but it will form a strong bond between both of you. For example, maybe your biggest insecurity is not being super outgoing and he says his is the same, you both and bond and work on being more outgoing together! Honesty will be your best friend in a relationship.

Keep A Good Balance

Wether you are a high school student, college student, or an adult, we all have important responsibilities. It is very important to keep a balance between work/school, your significant other, and your family and friends. If you don't keep this balance, you could lose yourself. Each aspect of your balance is important in different ways. Maybe you get comfort from your friends and family, but get love and excitement from your significant other. If you get too much of one aspect, you could find pleasure in only one thing and start to turn into someone you're not. Keep a calendar or schedule of times and dates to help keep a balance!
