3 Things I Believe
Before I get into my highest beliefs, ranked in order, I have a disclaimer that I need to share with y'all. Disclaimer: not everyone I associate myself with agrees with or abides by every one of my beliefs. This is a relevant thing for me to share because I do not pine for people to think I only surround myself with those who agree with all of my morals, I love everyone and will respect all views. That being said, let's fly right into the understated ideology.
1. God, Jesus, is real! Jesus is real, this I know because he still moves today. I see the miracles of him daily, daily! A couple months ago I was at a ladies' convention for my church, me and Destine, my friend, decided we were going to go for a drive around Marshall, MI. We headed off on one of the back roads driving about 60 mph. Something compelled me to check and see if Destine's seat-belt was properly buckled, it wasn't. I asked her to put it on, "what if we crash, you'd go through the windshield". Nearly four minutes after this discussion, a deer shot straight out in front of our car and we slammed on the breaks, I had not saw the deer at first, all I remember is that Destine screamed "DEER", and we were at a complete halt. In the moment of impact, inertia claims our bodies are still moving at 60 mph until the our state is "changed by an external force", being the deer/slamming on the breaks. It was God, we got out of the car safe and unharmed. A bit shaken up, but alive.
2. Delighting in mankind will allow you easy access to delight in yourself! When I think of a typical middle/high school bully, I think of someone who doesn't fit in, has low self-esteem issues, you get the picture. Scientifically proven, you are more likely to be "socially challenged" when you have low self-esteem issues, and visa versa. Generally speaking, I feel better about myself when I announce how great others are, when I spot things to value in others.
3. It is feasible to conquer all timidity, put aside your complications, and prevail in life! I can attest to that statement. If I'm being transparent, I struggle with social issues. I can be very introverted at times, other times I can be the most outgoing person in the room. It's a real challenge for me to remain at a constant social level, I am more comfortable with different crowds than I am with others. Putting aside my social mess, I love people and I love bonding with people! I still have to push myself to speak first and carry on conversations. It's a struggle, but I can never lose because I won't allow me to lose to myself. You can't always win, but you can never lose.
