Going to dinner at your girlfriends house and need a cool fact to impress her family? Or are you prepping for this week's quizzo competition? Or maybe you're just a college student who is sick of studying for finals and is looking for absolutely anything to distract you from reading your bio textbook. No matter what your situation may be, here's a list of interesting facts that I would bet you never knew. If you're anything like me, your brain is filled with useless facts that although they may be interesting, hold no point. Here's a few more to add to the list!

1. 11% of people are left handed.

2. An ostrich's eye is bigger than it's brain.

3. 8% of people have an extra rib.

4. Armadillos have 4 babies at a time and are all the same sex.

5. The first letter of the months July through November spell JASON (July, August, September, October, November).

6. All the blinking that you do in one day equates to having your eyes closed for 30 minutes.

8. At birth, Dalmatians are always white.

9. The safest car color is white.
