It has always been an important part of American culture, and its honest and relatable lyrics and unique rhythm make it one of the best genres to listen to any time of day. A once "twangy" genre of music, country has evolved into a more "country rock" genre and has become the unofficial genre of music to listen to during the summer with the windows rolled down, driving on the highway with no destination.
