If you go to or went to St. Ambrose, there are a few things you probably do not realize, but most likely have said at some point. Here are a few things I know I have thought before and I am sure you have too. With help from some input from Ambrose students, here is a list of things you have probably thought or said at some point during your time at 518 W. Locust St.
1. "There is something wrong with the squirrels here. Why are there so many of them????"
2. "Why does Ambrose send me 10,000 emails a day???"
3. "The WIFI sucks and it won't let me switch from public to student ugh"
4. "Is every student here an athlete?"
5. "Campus is small, but I still don't feel like walking all the way to McCarthy"
6. "Why aren't there any good parking spots?"
7. "I'd pick Rogo over the caf any day, sorry Sodexo"
8. "Oh wait I can't go to Rogo because I spent all my Buzzbucks in the first two weeks"
9. "I remember where I spent all my Buzzbucks. Maybe all those $5 Caramel Macchiatos weren't worth it"
10. "The coffeeshop is SUCH a ripoff"
11. "I love the smell of dog food in the morning". (Theres a dog food factory somewhere near campus if you didn't know).
12. "All my friends are SO crabby and stressed...there must be an Anatomy exam"
13. "I feel like I know the name or face of legit everyone because this school is so small"
14. "I guess I will take the stairs considering the elevators never work and smell SO bad"
15. "Crap I forgot my ID in my room and the security officer is going to hate me"
16. "I'm really stressed so I am going to treat myself to some Whitey's"
17. "I really wish we could still walk across the field to get to McCarthy"
18. "Skipped class and just made eye contact with my professor walking on campus..this is awkward"
19. "Why does Lewis smell like a giant toilet?"
20. "Why do I always run into the people I don't like? Oh wait its inevitable consider the size of Ambrose"
21. "Blackboard and Webprint aren't working and I have to submit a paper"
22. "Did they really just use another bee pun?"
23. "When will this construction finally be over?"
24. "I sick of the caf. I want a home cooked meal"
25. "This school might be small, but the people here are the best"
26. "Why is our mascot so angry?" (look how angry it is!)
