I remember devoting my Sundays to Lifetime movies where they were portrayed by the same people — people in their twenties. I spent so much of my adolescence wishing that I was 20-29 years old, and now, for the life of me, I can't understand why. This is the life defining decade, and for any college student this is the most stressful time in our lives thus far. I romanticized a decade I knew nothing about, and although it is full of hardships, it has its high points as well.
There is something about a collection of words that has a way of bringing us to a place of comfort, no matter our situation, so here is a list of stories and quotes which serve as a daily reminder that whenever things get tough, you aren't alone and you can always move forward.
1. Relit cigarettes never taste the same, but leftover Chinese food tastes better the next day. I guess what I’m saying is timing is everything.
2. You were never meant to be kept, and that’s why people always left. You are destined for better places filled with better people. Quick, run.
3. The possibility for greatness and embarrassment exist in the same space. If you're not willing to be embarrassed, you're probably not willing to be great.

5. I can’t wait till I get to come home to the love of my life every night and talk about our days over expensive wine.
