The average person spends about 42 hours a year sitting in traffic. Just think about how often you sit in traffic and the nasty comments you make under your breath or say to yourself in your head about all the idiots around you. Or think about the frustration you get when you are running late to an event or dinner and get stuck in traffic.
Traffic is inevitable (unless you live in secret remote location) and for the majority of us who live in the suburbs or even worse the city, traffic is something you encounter everyday of your life. Being stuck in a traffic jam usually produces some thoughts like this.
1. "I am never going to make it through this light."
2. "Why aren't we moving?"
4. "Yes, sure that tiny opening in front of my car is definitely big enough for your monstrosity of a SUV."
6. "Pay attention, you moron."
7. "There was traffic because of that?"
11. "I should have left earlier."
13. "You can turn off your blinker, now."
14. "Did the guy really just pick his nose?"
15. "Go, go, go!"
16. "No, do not slam on your brakes every time you move two feet."
17. "Get off your phone, idiot!"
18. "I've been in the car for 45 minutes -- how far have I gone?"
19. "I'm never driving again."
20. "Come on, people, let's move it!"
21. "Stop rubbernecking, and just drive!"
22. "Is homegirl really taking a selfie right now?"
23. "Ugh."
24. "I just want to be home!"
25. "I'm moving to the mountains."
So, there we have it -- just some of the thoughts we all have while sitting in your daily traffic jam.
