Costume shopping has got to be on of the best parts of Halloween, right? Right and wrong, if that makes sense. Costume shopping is so much fun, giving you the opportunity to be whatever or whoever you want to be for a night. But like any other type of clothes shopping, it can get pretty stressful pretty quick. Especially if you're a little bigger than the models. You'll start to think to yourself...

1.) Okay, time to find the best costume evaaaaa.

2.) Hello, Party City wall of costumes. Long time no see.

3.) Why is nothing I found on the website on this wall?

4.) Pinterest had it...

5.) Oh, that's cute! *checks size* Never mind.

6.) This is literally just a bra and panties with mouse ears...

7.) I'm a mouse, duh!

8.) Surely they've got something I can wear.

9.) They do know the average size of a woman is a size 16 to 18, not a size 2, right?

10.) No shame. All girls are hot and sizes are just numbers. I got this.

11.) *picks out costume to try on* Is this made of only spandex?

12.) Where's the rest of it?!

13.) Oh, cool. I can't zip it. *Sticks head out of door to find your friend* Help me.

14.) Okay, it zipped... Aaaaaand my boobs are falling out of the top. Great. Next.

15.) I could always wear a DIY costume...

16.) And it would be cheaper...

17.) But these are already put together and I'm lazy...

18.) Must. Get. All. Of. The. Makeup.

19.) *finds new costume to try on* Okay, this could work.. *turns around to see half of your butt hanging out* LOL nope.

20.) Wait! Leggings!

21.) Yesssss. This could work.

22.) Okay, now we're getting somewhere.

23.) Now we just need accessories.. *proceeds to pick up all the makeup, fake eyelashes, shoes, headpieces, and whatever else you see*

24.) Yassssss, girl, slayyyyy.

25.) And who said bigger girls can't look great on Halloween?

Moral of the story, go out and wear whatever you want to wear this Halloween. We're all gorgeous regardless of our size and if you still can't find something in the stores to wear, get on Pinterest and make a DIY one! Whatever you do, just make sure you're happy and comfortable. You have no one to impress other than yourself.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
