I love teachers. My sister is a teacher, her friends are teachers, I have had so many teachers make wonderful impacts on my life. I just don't want to be one. But that's the only thing you can do with an English, degree right? Having an English degree is looked down on by a lot of people. People think it's too easy and that everyone can write a paper or read a book. These days if you're not in the STEM field it seems as if you're doomed to ever find work. This mindset is incorrect. While many teachers have English degrees, you can do so many other things with an English degree. Here are some examples
