25 Reasons Adele Is The Queen

I think we all can agree that Adele's new album, 25, is practically flawless. So is Adele herself.

If you haven't heard her new album, I need you FIX THAT. Also how dare you, sir/madame? Do yourself the favor and bless your eardrums as soon as possible. You owe it to yourself, your family, your cat, and America to have a listen.

If you haven't heard her album 21, you are four years late and it is time to get that part of your life in order, pal.

And if you haven't even heard her album 19, I ask you this:

"What hole have you been hiding in and are you ok?"

For those of you that just need a little shove in the Adele direction, this is the article for you! In honor of her latest album, here are 25 reasons why everyone is crazy about Adele.

1. Her voice (obviously)

Adele can sing her face off. Her vocals are INCREDIBLE, folks.

2. Her 'Live In New York City' concert.

Tears. So many tears. 70% because it was so beautiful, 30% because I wasn't there in person. Also, she started crying when the audience gave her a standing ovation, so naturally every other human being cried too.

3.SHE'S GOING TO TOUR IN AMERICA!!

It's real. It's going to happen.

4. This quote:

"I don't make music for eyes. I make music for ears."

5. She's a self-proclaimed feminist.

#GirlPower

6. She freaks out about meeting Beyoncé, so we know she's actually human.

"I was about to meet Beyoncé, and I had a full blown anxiety attack. Then she popped in looking gorgeous and said, 'You're amazing! When I listen to you, I feel like I'm listening to God.'"

7. She isn't in it for the fame.

She does what she does for one reason: she loves to sing.

8. Umm, she's HILARIOUS.

9. Her first single ever, "Chasing Pavements."

This was the song that made everyone go crazy for Adele. The brilliance only grew after this song.

10. Her vocals are REAL.

11. She has TEN Grammys. TEN.

12. One word: sass.

13. She has a potty mouth!

14. She's all about being true to herself.

"I like having my hair and face done, but I’m not going to lose weight because someone tells me to. I make music to be a musician not to be on the cover of Playboy."

15. This:

16. Her eyeliner.

It's actually perfect.

17. "Someone Like You"

18. Her music is relatable.

I, for one, am so guilty of screaming Rolling In The Deep when I was getting over a breakup. More than once.

Adele fans, you know you've had these moments too.

19. This moment:

20. "Hello"

21. The lyrics. They just say the right things.

22. Her music means a lot to her because she makes it so personal. She really draws on her own personal life and interprets that into her work.

23. 19

SO GOOD. Listen to it.

24. 21

EVEN BETTER. LISTEN TO IT.

25. 25

THE BEST!! L I S T E N T O I T.

Adele is the queen. That is all.

Parks and Recreation excitedly gathered around a laptop at a table in an office setting.

The library. Club lib. The place every college student goes when they want to try and be a productive member of society. Who better to explain your experience than Parks and Rec?

Taylor Swift in orange dress playing a moss-covered piano on stage with bright lights.

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

Students walking on a sunny college campus with trees and buildings.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.
