Here is a list of great date ideas that range from cheap to a tad expensive to do this summer. There is something for everyone on this list!
1. Get Ice Cream
Ice cream is the perfect way to cool off during the hot summer months, so go get some with your special someone. You can try out each others favorite ice cream spots, and try out a bunch of different flavors as well!
2. Take a Hike
Hiking is a great way to adventure, and to enjoy the beautiful nature surrounding you two. It creates a bond experience you will never forget.
3. Go Fishing
You already caught your special someone; now go out and catch some fish! This is a great way to relax, get to know someone more, and catch dinner at the same time.
4. Mini golf
Be one with your inner child, and have fun! Make it a friendly competition, and have the loser buy ice cream afterward for a great date!
5. Drive-In Movie
This is a classic romantic date that can never get old! Just make sure you grab some snacks and a pillow, so the two of you can sit back, relax, and snack!
6. Day at the Beach
Don't just go to the beach to tan! Go to the beach, and bring a few games to play! You guys can have fun in the sun, and enjoy the view! Just don't forget to put on sunscreen!
7. Have a Bonfire
This way you can wear his sweatshirt, and cuddle up against the warm fire while roasting marshmallows.
8. Watch the Sunset/Sunrise
Grab a blanket, and watch the beautiful scene unfold before your eyes.
9. Go to a Park
Going to a park together is a great way to relax, and get to know one each other! A fabulous first date idea!
10. Go Biking
This is a great way to do something free and healthy together. It is a great date because there is a fantastic view, and you both work up an appetite to eat ice cream together after!
11. Trip to the Zoo
If you are both animal lovers, this is great! Spend the day holding hands, and see the wondrous animals that the world has to offer! Take tons of pictures so you have something to look back on!
12. See a Baseball Game
You both do not have to be big baseball fans to try this one! Just sit back, and enjoy the game! Don't forget about the game day food, and kiss cam because that's the best part!
13. Go Skinny-dipping
Beware this date is a little more provocative, and usually not for a first date. However, just make sure you don't get caught. I have never done this, but I definitely assume it is a sexy way to cool down on a hot summer night.
14. Take a Dance Class Together
If you want to improve your dancing skills, take a dance class or two together. This can be anything from learning how to Waltz to the Salsa.
15. Go Camping
You cold go camping in your own backyard or at an actual campsite. It is a lot cheaper than renting a hotel, and the view is ten times prettier as well!
16. Concert
Any music lover would freak if they went to see their favorite band. Make he or she ecstatic by surprising them with tickets!
17. Water park
A great date for a hot summer day because both of you can cool off in a fun manner! This can be done with just you two, or even as a double date! By flipping the penny- heads equals a right turn, while tails equals a left turn!
18. Coffee Date
Go to a local coffee house, and order your favorite brew. This way you guys can sip, talk and laugh. This is a great first date to get to know someone!19. Penny Date
This is one of my favorites! Get in a car, and tell your date to choose a number between 1 and 20. Whatever number they picked is the number of turns you have to take on this adventure.
20. Wine Tours
Sampling wine in the summer is a perfect way to spend the day, and who knows maybe you'll buy a bottle for your next dinner date!
21. DIY Craft Together
The feeling of making something with your significant other is one of the best feelings in the world. It brings you closer and gives you a sense of pride. Plus, it is something you can cherish forever, and look back on whenever you see it!
22. Cruise
This date is a little bit more pricey, but definitely a date that you will never forget. You both can enjoy the beautiful water, great food, and watch a show while doing it!
23. Make a Meal Together
Instead of buying dinner, make it instead. This way you guys can shop for ingredients together, choose a recipe, and bond over making and sharing a meal together!
24. Work out Together
Working out together helps encourage both of you to stay healthy, ans a get way to motivate each other! Go for a run, and make sure to have fun!
25. Stargazing
Finally my personal favorite is going out to watch the stars. Grab a blanket, some pillows, and some snacks that way you and your special someone can relax under the beautiful night sky.
