With all of the recent Jersey Shore memes circulating recently, now is a better time than ever to commemorate on one of the greatest gifts of all time - Jersey Shore. A show about eight Italian strangers living in a summer house took the world by storm in December 2009, and humanity as a whole hasn't been the same since. Here are 24 reasons why Jersey Shore was God's gift to humanity.

1. Their intros.

"I'm going to the Jersey Shore, bitch!" -Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi

2. How they all became fast friends over one commonality - a love of alcohol.

3. How drunk they got for the sole purpose of entertaining America.

“There are no cell phones, no TV, and you can’t read. You can’t write or pass notes. You can’t listen to music, you can’t do anything. It’s kind of like being in jail for two months—and people wonder why all we do is drink! It’s because there’s nothing else to do! It passes the time and makes it fun." -Snooki

4. The anthem that everybody found themselves singing at one point or another.

5. The endless amount of drunk fights.

6. The greatest ultimatum of all time.

She's got one of two options, which seem like the same option...?

7. The endless amount of drunk dancing.

8. When Snooki fought Angelina, and Ronnie took it upon himself to commentate.

9. "Cabs are here!"

10. When they went to Italy, and Pauly still shouted his favorite phrase.

11. Snooki and Jenni.

They went on to have their own spinoff once Jersey Shore ended. They're still friends today. Their kids are even friends! Can you say besties?

12. All of the drama that was Ron and Sam.

13. The obsession with JWoww's "boobies."

14. Deena.

15. When Pauly was mad at the girls for being mad at him for being mad at them.

Pissed!

16. When Snooki got so drunk she couldn't find the beach...from the boardwalk.

17. When Angelina made the very unfortunate mistake of touching Pauly.

18. Snooki and Deena.

19. When Mike attacked the wall.

20. When Snooki got so drunk that she got arrested - after she found the beach, of course.

21. When JWoww broke up with her then-boyfriend but didn't want to tell him that she was seeing a new guy.

Said new guy's name was Roger, and Pauly couldn't help but make the most perfect joke.

22. The relationship that made us all believe in love - Vinny and Pauly.

23. And how they weren't at all embarrassed to express their love for each other.

24. And how at the end of the day, they all became real friends who loved each other.

Parks and Recreation excitedly gathered around a laptop at a table in an office setting.

The library. Club lib. The place every college student goes when they want to try and be a productive member of society. Who better to explain your experience than Parks and Rec?

Taylor Swift in orange dress playing a moss-covered piano on stage with bright lights.

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

Students walking on a sunny college campus with trees and buildings.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.
