23 Unattainable Things That I REALLY Want For Christmas

All I want for Christmas is... more than just "you."

Christmas is creeping its way even closer and I keep getting asked: "what do you want for Christmas?" Of course, I did compose a list of things I wanted, like clothes, make-up, and gift cards to Chipotle (because free food, duh). But there are some things that are a bit harder to achieve for my loved ones to get me this Christmas:

1. Clear skin

2. For One Direction to get back together

3. For net neutrality to not be repealed

4. For new seasons of Parks and Recreation to happen

5. For 5 Seconds of Summer to release new music

6. To have unlimited time to binge-watch on Netflix

7. To not grow up and deal with adult responsibilities

8. Hamilton tickets

9. For Vine 2 to be released faster (and not have Jake Paul and Team 10 be on it)

10. For Noah Schnapp to get nominated for his Stranger Things season 2 performance

11. For Zanessa to get back together

12. For Obama to still be President

13. For the Kardashians to confirm or deny any of their pregnancy rumors

14. For Facebook to get rid of Stories

15. For people to not be terrible to retail workers during the holidays

16. My metabolism that I used to have

17. The ability to teleport

18. To have Whataburger AND In-and-Out to come to Kansas

19. To guarantee that I will have a job right out of college

20. To not have pit stains all the time

21. For Apple to finally have red-haired emoji people

22. For Riverdale to get better writers

and finally,

23. For coffee to be less expensive so I can afford it every day

Get to it, Santa.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

The Importance Of Being A Good Person

An open letter to the good-hearted people.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
