Fall semester is just around the corner! As excited as I am to get back to reality and start off the new school year, I can’t imagine leaving my best friend behind, my sister. Here are twenty-three reasons why having a sister is like having the perfect best friend all the time!
1. You always have someone to hang out and enjoy the day with.
2. They always tell you the truth. No matter how bad it is.
3. She is the only one who understands how crazy your family really is.
4. And is always there for you to laugh with when your Mom or Dad makes really uncomfortable comments.
5. The amount of inside jokes you have together is an understatement.
6. You understand each other’s facial reactions with out saying a word.
7. You have two closets to choose from when you “don’t have anything to wear”.
8. Your sister will always have your back especially when it comes to hiding things from your parents.
9. No one understands your favorite songs or movies as much as she does, especially because she’s been forced to listen to or watch them on repeat.
10. You always feel like you have a best friend on family vacations.
11. She’s seen you at your best and definitely your worst and she still loves you no matter what.
12. You can fight with each other as much as you want, but if anyone else is mean to your sister it turns into world war three. No one messes with your sister.
13. She has high expectations for you and pushes you to succeed.
14. She will never allow you to settle for less than you deserve.
15. She will always be your toughest critic, but its only because she wants the best for you and knows your full potential.
16. She always knows how to make you laugh even when it seems like you will never smile again.
17. She loves you no matter what. Even though she knows how weird you can be and has seen your ugly crying face.
18. She will always be there for you to listen to your problems and provide you with the best advice she can offer.

20. You are both guaranteed a maid of honor position in each other’s weddings.
21. She will always be honest to you, while trying to avoid hurting your feelings as much as possible.
22. She will do anything she can to help you and won’t let any obstacle get in her way.
23. Other friends come and go, but sisters are forever.
