Everyone has down days, and lately one of my friends has been having a down month. So I'm writing this in the hopes that it will cheer them up, as well as anyone else who needs it. (Just a heads up, I'm not funny.)

1. Dogs.

Dogs are literally perfection. All they want to do is give you kisses and love on you.

2. Food.

Being hangry is a serious problem, so when someone gives you food, it brightens your mood up RIGHT AWAY.

3. Sleep.

Have you ever been super cranky and taken a nap, then woken up, no longer cranky? Yeah, sleep is a blessing.

4. TELEVISION.

I cannot tell you enough how great shows are and how happy the fictional characters in the shows make some people. Go on Netflix and start binge watching a show. You won't regret it.

5. Video games.

If you ever just want to zone out, video games is the way to do it. Call of Duty is always a fan favorite. 10/10 recommend.

6. Family.

You only have one family. They're going to annoy you, but at the end of the day, they're always there and will love you no matter what.

7. Friends.

Friends are like a second family. They love you for who you are and go out of their way to spend time with you.

8. Jokes.

How do you make a tissue dance? You put a little boogie in it.

9. Pictures.

Pictures hold memories, and usually they tend to be happy memories. Take a stroll down memory lane.

10. Technology.

Is your phone in your hand right now? Enough said.

11. Clothes.

BUYING NEW CLOTHES IS SO SATISFYING, I DON'T CARE WHAT ANYONE SAYS.

12. Sun.

13. Water.

Have you ever woken up in the middle of the night with your mouth as dry as the Sahara Desert? Water is life.

14. Snapchat!!!!

Who doesn't want to see pictures of their friends?

15. Microwaves.

They're fast ways to make food. Always a win.

16. Cute men/women.

17. Jokes. :)

How do you make holy water? You boil the hell out of it.

18. Movies.

Hot. Actors.

19. Music.

JAMMING IN THE CAR IS SO FUN OKAY BYE.

20. Books.

Hot. Imaginary. People. In. Your. Mind.

21. Food. Again.

22. Being alive.

Live your greatest life and there's no way you can't be happy.

23. YOUR BED!!!

Ever been at an amusement park all day and your legs are just tired?

So there you have it. Cliche, probably. Helpful, maybe. Good advice, definitely.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
