Solid ground has never felt so good.

22 Stages Of A Long Flight
  1. You pack enough to supply not only you, but three other people.
  2. The car ride to the airport never ends.
  3. Once you’re finally at the airport, there is a good two hours worth of waiting in line.
  4. And once you’re done waiting in that line, there is another line for security.
  5. A little more waiting for the flight to board.
  6. Finally, you sit down in your cramped, uncomfortable seat and get ready for the longest couple hours of your life.
  7. An hour in, it’s not that bad.
  8. Four hours in, still surviving.
  9. Around the eight-hour mark, you regret the decision and wish you never even boarded the plane in the first place.
  10. The food is one step above edible.
  11. Never mind, definitely not edible.
  12. Bathroom breaks are one of the biggest hassles.
  13. And, of course, someone is in the bathroom every time you look to see if it’s open.
  14. Oh no, they brought another meal.
  15. Finally, the captain said something about descent.
  16. Longest hour ever.
  17. Everyone bull rushes the aisle trying to get their bag, even though it takes another 15 minutes for people to start leaving the plane.
  18. After finally getting off of the plane, more lines.
  19. And then some more lines.
  20. “Please God, tell me they didn’t forget my luggage.”
  21. Walking out of an airport has never felt so good in your life.
  22. It was all worth it once you look around and realize you’re thousands of miles away from home and ready for a new adventure.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
