Do you feel down? Out of sorts? Off? Just not yourself? Whether its because of people or circumstances in our lives, or just because we all go through it. Sometimes it just feels like you got it by a car, and then hit again and again.

I made a list of songs to listen to when you want to get out of this rut and GET YOUR FREAKING LIFE BACK. Here they are, jam out to them babe, and just remember that you may not be able to control your circumstances, but you can control your reaction to them.

1. "Shake It Off" by: Taylor Swift

Shake off all the daggum haters and the bad vibes that are holding you down/back.

2. "Who Says" by: Selena Gomez

"You've got every right, To a beautiful life". It's your choice, who cares what others say!

3. "Skyscraper" by: Demi Lovato

Rise above it all, like a, well you know.

4. “All Star” by: Smash Mouth

To remind you how freaking awesome you are!

5. "Tubthumping" by: Chumbawumba

Strange title, but actually encouraging! “I get knocked down, But I get up again, You’re never going to keep me down”.

6. "What Do I Know?" by: Ed Sheeran

This song is all about spreading love and positivity. If you focus on that your problems shrink.

7. "Priceless" by: for King and Country

Remember your worth, and that even when you feel worthless. You're not!

This is just a fun song to jam to and reminisce on the past and forget all your present worries!

9. "Carry On" by: Fun.

CARRY ON. KEEP GOING.

10. "Kill 'em With Kindness" by: Selena Gomez

When people are treating you bad, or being mean, sometimes all you can do is kill them with kindness!

It's gonna get better!

This song, to me, is about just being with someone and loving them through what you're both going through. I recommend the Jess and Gabriel Conte cover though... ;)

19. "Pressure" by: Ryan Corn

This song reminds me that everyone goes through things, not just me. And when you really love someone, you should love them while they work things out.I recommend the Jess and Gabriel Conte cover again ;)

20. "Don't Stop Believin'" by: Journey

Kinda basic, BUT this song has an excellent message! Don't stop believing, things WILL get better!

21. "The Middle" by: Jimmy Eat World

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
