Having a sister is one of the best gifts God has ever given me. I am beyond grateful for the relationship and bond I have with her. My little sister, Alexis was born when I was 2 and a half years old. Besides fighting often, I believe that ever since I left for college, our relationship has become even closer. I am beyond lucky to call my sister my best friend. I know that she will forever be there for me, in the good times and in the bad. Here are 22 reasons why your sister is your BFF for life.

1. You have endless amounts of inside jokes that nobody will understand


2. You like each other's Instagram, Facebook and Twitter posts even when they're not your best

3. You cancel plans with your other friends just to spend time with your actual BFF

4. You both will never judge each other for the mistakes you have made in the past

5. She will forever be there for you when you need a shoulder to cry on

6. She lets you borrow (steal) your clothes even though you want to punch her in the face secretly (or maybe not so secretly)

7. You try and Facetime every day if you two aren't with each other


8. She's the first person you tell everything and anything too.

9. You finish each other's sentences

10. Whenever either of you is down in the dumps, driving in a car and blasting music is the best therapy for one another

11. You both are always ready any time of the day for extreme adventures

12. If someone laughs and make fun of you two, you know you got each other's backs

13. You can't be mad at each other for more than 10 minutes tops.


14. Throwing random movie quotes at each other like its a piece of cake

15. She takes you out of your comfort zone


16. Going out with your sister are the best and most memorable times


17. Fights with your parents include side chatter from your little sister always backing you up


18. Even though you don't want to admit it, you do actually have the same taste in everything...
