A new year, time for new goals, new bucket lists. New year, new me right? Wrong. New year, better me. A new year is a time to set goals for yourself, have new experiences, do the things you want to do. I came up with 21 things I want to do for 2018. Some are one big goal, some are daily practices or monthly goals, and some might not be accomplished, but as long as I try, that's all that matters.

1. Write a letter to myself everyday about what I am doing to achieve everything else on this list

2. Take a picture everyday

3. Write a book

4. Visit a new city every month

5. Go to a St Louis Blues game

6. Do a triathlon

7. Take a road trip by myself

8. Go eat breakfast in one city, lunch in another, and dinner in another

9. no fast food or soda

10. Learn to kinda speak Spanish

11. Wear everything in my closet at least once or get rid of it

12. Learn sign language

13. Volunteer once a month

14. Dress up at least once a week

15. Go skydiving

16. Do the color run

17. Read one book every month

18. Hike the grand canyon

19. Donate blood

20. Only get A’s and B’s in all my courses

21. Go to the last van’s warp tour summer 2018

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
