Turning 21 is a huge milestone in most people's lives. Not only does it mean you can get a drink at the bars but it also means you are an adult. In my life, I've learned a lot about myself and the world around me. Here are 21 things I'be learned by age 21.

1. Your mother is always right.

2. God always has your back. He works in the most mysterious ways.

3. It isn't always about quantity, sometimes it's better to have less.

4. Time flies so enjoy your youth while you still have it.

5. Stay in school. It might be hard but it will be worth it.

6. Get involved in your school, church or community.

7. Smiling gets your through a lot of tough situations.

8. Pray. It'll make you feel better in the best or worst of times.

9. Tell your family how much you love them everyday, because tomorrow isn't promised.

10. Be different than everyone else. Go left when they all go right.

11. Eat the cake or buy the blouse.

12. But if you do so, workout the next day a little harder or save some money next pay.

13. Take as many pictures as you possibly can.

14. You are beautiful and everyone sees it too.

15. Your best might never seem good enough, but it is.

16. Put your phone down and take a walk outside.

17. Friends come and go.

18. You know what you know and that's all you know.

19. Being in love is a great thing.

20. Love everyone, even if they don't have the same views as you.

21. Live for today.

We are all born to do something great.
