21 Songs You Need In Your Playlist

The perfect playlist for your next road trip

I spend a very good part of my day driving in my car by myself, commuting from my house to school, from school to work and from work back home. Although it might seem like the most undesirable situation to be in, I like it.

It takes me about 45-50 minutes to arrive at school but there is nothing like being in your car and blasting the speakers listening to your favorite music. I enjoy songs that I can sing along to at the top of my lungs. If you have ever seen an episode of Carpool Karaoke, that is what I'm talking about.

Here are 21 on my favorite songs, if you are looking for new music to listen to, here's the perfect mix:

5 K-pop Rookie Groups That Deserve More Recognition

Stan all these groups, you won't regret it.

As most of you should know by most of my articles, I love K-pop and would love to teach as many people as I can about K-pop. A few months ago I wrote an article about 10 K-pop groups to know about; most of those groups, however, were pretty top rated and are considered high idols in the K-pop entertainment. Each year, record labels debut new rookie groups and try to prove that they deserve a spot in the limelight of idol life. So here is a list of 5 rookie groups you should definitely check out! Stan them as quickly as you can and maybe even pick your bias, I know I have ;)

1. SF9

They debuted in October of 2016 und FNC entertainment. SF( consists of 9 members; Youngbin (the leader), Inseong, Jaeyoon, Dawon, Zuho, Rowoon, Taeyang, Hwiyoung, and Chani. They are very silly and excellent performers. My bias in this group is Hwiyoung, his smile and laugh just brings me joy.

2. Astro

These adorable boys debuted as Astro in February 2016. Sure they are not the sexy boy band or have that bad boy feel to them, but they have that cute, innocent and quirky vibe to them and their music. In Astro there are 6 members; Jinjin ( leader), MJ, Cha Eunwoo, Moonbin, Rocky, and baby Sanha. Personally, whenever Cha Eunwoo smiles, I smile and when he laughs, I laugh.

3. Bigflo

Technically, Bigflo isn't a rookie group, considering they originally debuted in 2014, but recently in 2017 two members left and three more were added. So now the group consists of 7 members: Jungkyun, Euijin, Sungmin, Lex, Ron, Yuseong, and Hightop. My bias is Hightop because if you watch their episode on Immigration, he is hilarious and is a great rapper. I also have a special place for Maknaes, aka the baby of groups.

4. KNK

So let me tell you about KNK, aka (hehe see what I did there? I know I'm lame) my precious babies. They are tall and handsome enough to all be models, especially Seungjun am I right?! But back to business, they debuted in February of 2016. Currently, three of the members are participating on a survival show called, "MIXNINE." The group consists of 5 members; Jihun (leader), Youjin (also known as the love of my life), Seungjun, Inseong, and Heejun.

5. Pentagon

OK SO I HAD TO SAVE THE BEST FOR LAST. These boys are my bias group, like they beat out BTS, GOT7, Big Bang and all the other groups I love. My boys debuted on October 10th, 2016. They all participated on a tv survival show called "Pentagon Maker", in the end they eliminated SHinwon, but brought him back because Pentagon wouldn't be complete without Shinwon (I lost my shit let me tell you). The group consists of 10 members. I know it's a lot, but trust me it's worth it. My babies names are Hui (crazy leader), Jinho (angelic vocals), Hongseok (sexy athlete) E'Dawn (lead rapper and highest screams I've ever heard), Shinwon ( broad shoulders to make him a model), Yeo One ( he can kill you with looks during an MV it's hard to get through it sometimes), Yanan (the cutest Chinese boy ever alive), Yuto (the sexiest Japanese rapper ever created), Kino (best dancer around and serves a lot of looks just as much as Yeo One), and finally the Maknae, my ultimate bias, Wooseok, the giant Maknae (even though hes 20, he's 6'2 and has a very deep voice which makes him a beautiful rapper). STAN PENTAGON.

Stan all these groups because they are so underrated and yet so talented. I hope you either start your K-pop journey or continue it by learning and watching these groups and many many more. Stay beautiful my readers!

25 Little Things Stormers Love About Bastille

They're just four dorks in a band!

After selling over 5 million records in the US, being nominated for multiple awards, (and winning some!), and having MASSIVE hits with "Pompeii" and "Good Grief," it's safe to say that Bastille is a major force in indie/alternative pop music.

We all know the songs - "Pompeii" was practically inescapable in 2013 - but true fans (called "stormers") love more than just their catchy radio hits. They love the four (sometimes five) guys behind these songs, too! They're just a bunch of funny, smart, kind nerds!

Here are just twenty-five (of the many) little things Stormers love about Bastille!

1. Dan’s obsession with David Lynch

Look at that David Lynch shirt! He's such a fanboy, he's written multiple songs about the show "Twin Peaks!"

2. Kyle’s obsession with cats

That might be the greatest cat shirt I've ever seen (and he wears a lot of them)!

3. Woody’s hair

Disney Princess-worthy hair!

4. Will’s personality

"They don't call me the granny of rock for nothing." - Will Farquarson, "Help Me Chase Those Seconds" documentary

5. Charlie Barnes

He's just a touring member, not an official band member, but we love him as much as we love the rest of the band! (And he has a brilliant new song out!)

6. All the covers

They're all so brilliant! (But here are my 15 favorites!)

7. Dan’s dancing

It's terrible, but also incredibly adorable!

8. Kyle’s mustache

Look at how majestic it is!

9. When they speak in French

They're a British band, but they're named after a French holiday, so they've been trying to learn French!

10. Dan’s laugh

Any time he laughs, it's adorable, but it's best when he starts giggling while singing.

11. Dan pointing at things

There are so many pictures of him pointing at random things floating around on the internet. What a dork. (And there's a "Twin Peaks" reference with this one!)

12. The acapella version of "Overjoyed"

This particular performance seriously shows how incredibly talented these guys are!

13. Dan’s hair

It's always changing, but it never fails to defy gravity.

14. Dan’s pessimism

"How am I gonna be an optimist about this?"

15. Dan messing up his own lyrics… and lyrics to songs by other artists

He can't remember the lyrics to "Skulls" (one of the most underrated Bastille songs), or "bad_news," and he wrote them! And in the "This Is What You Came For/Bang Bang/I Knew You Were Trouble" mashup, he gets the lyrics to "I Knew You Were Trouble" COMPLETELY wrong. It's okay, Dan, we still love you!

16. Kyle’s overall fabulousness

The ultimate sassmaster.

17. The spinny videos

These videos were seriously one of the best parts of the Wild Wild World Tour! They're so adorable!

18. Will constantly forgetting the songs

"I'm in the band, I swear" - Will Farquarson, probably

19. When Dan drums

Just one of the many reasons "Of the Night" is one of the best songs to hear live!

20. The way Dan runs

It's adorable and hilarious!

21. The "Glory" music video

A cinematic masterpiece!

22. Will’s sarcasm

He's practically always like this. It's the best!

23. Their friendship

They're all actually super close friends! There's usually at least one hug during live shows! It's wonderful!

24. When Dan does the tip-toe thing while singing high notes

He stands on his toes anytime he sings a high note, and it's the most precious thing ever.

25. The band’s overall adorableness

Just look at them! How can you not love them?!
