As the end of the year approaches, many students will end up graduating with a degree in their hands. While the idea of being freed from school might motivate you to do well in school or look for jobs, this feeling is short-lived. Mostly, you and your fellow seniors just want the year to end so you can enjoy the summer. It's altogether very exhilarating yet very scary, because after graduation is the real world, where real jobs and adult responsibilities await you. Alas, senioritis is a common condition that afflicts many soon-to-graduate students every year. A lack of motivation, failing to prioritize, and apathy towards classes are the most noticeable signs that you should be aware of. If you're looking to graduate soon, look out for these following symptoms of senioritis. For those of you about the graduate, you know very well that this is all pretty much inevitable anyway.
1.At first, it’s a bit euphoric: the idea of almost being done with school.

2. That graduating senior status when registering for your last quarter makes you feel empowered. No need for others to save a space for you or re-plan your entire school year because you didn’t get into the class you needed.

3. And then you realize that you’re all set to graduate. All you have to do now…
4. … is pass your classes.
5. Which is proving to be incredibly hard to do.
6. For one, waking up for classes is such a struggle now.
7. That thing called motivation that you had in freshman year is now gone. Missing. You have no idea where it went.
8. You probably haven’t touched the textbook you bought.

9. You figure that hitting the average score on tests is fine, as long as you pass. (Or maybe just under for some of you.)
10. You might even do some calculations to see the minimum amount of work you need to do in order to get a passing grade.
11. All of the lower-classmen suddenly seem soooo annoying when you’re forced to sit next to them in class.
12. The ability to go to bars gives you temptations that you didn’t have in freshman year. There’s no harm in a few weeknight drinks, right?
13. The quarter seems to drag on forever.
14. And then the last few weeks fly by!
16. Testing has never felt so excruciating. Are all exams this long?
17. On top of that, you have to find, like, an actual career.
18. But Netflix sounds so much better than job-hunting...
19. After four long years (or three and a half, or five for you double majors), however, you have made it!
20. Now you can do what you love, or what you want, or maybe you're stuck in a part-time job that is only slightly related to your major, but hey, you no longer have the burden of school upon your shoulders!
21. ... Until grad school, anyway.
