I know the anticipation has been killing you...finals week has struck! It's weeks like these when that morning coffee and quick bite to eat with your best friend means so much more. It is typical to begin appreciating the little things in life this week. Like when you had that extra hour before bed to watch Netflix or time to aimlessly scroll through Facebook watching videos of cute dogs learning how to swim. Well, reality has hit, and if you haven't already been preparing, get cramming! When you need that short 10 minute break from your textbooks to breathe, take a look through some of these quotes, I know they will give you the motivation to keep going!
1. You've got this!
2. Five more days, and you'll be sipping hot cocoa in front of your fireplace, TV, or Christmas tree, free from school for a month...or two.
3. It always seems impossible until it's done!
4. Do something today that your future self will thank you for.
5. Don't hit the snooze button—get your a*s out of bed and rock your exams!
6. Will it be easy? Nope. Will it be worth it? Yes!
7. Keep calm, Christmas break is almost here!
8. In a few days, you will be reunited with all of your best friends...and a good night's sleep.
9. Do it for yourself—you deserve the best.
10. Reward yourself with a 10-minute break from studying...and a chocolate bar.
11. You are capable of more than you know!
12. Strive for progress, not perfection.
13. That exam you have tomorrow—it's your b*tch.
14. Push yourself. because no one else is going to do it for you.
15. Prove the haters wrong!
16. Work hard so you don't have to relearn things in the future.
17. Successful people do what unsuccessful people are not willing to do.
18. Keep your face to the sunshine and you can never see the shadow.
19. You miss 100 percent of the shots you don’t take.
20. You will be ahead of the people who thought these exams would never be helpful in their future.
21. Happy exams...and let the curve be ever in your favor.
My final piece of advice for everyone out there stressing throughout this finals week:
Work hard to get a great job to be free to live and enjoy your life in the future without wishing you had worked harder in the past.
Good luck!
