We all know it to be true that from 1998-2013, Disney Channel aired some of the greatest movies from our childhood.

From living in space to fighting evil as teen witches to creating singing holograms, Disney came up with about everything we didn’t know we loved until we loved them. Hands down, the music was one of the best parts of DCOMs. Disney knew how to hit everyone in the feels and keep these songs stuck in our heads for hours, with themes of heartbreak, girl power, and friendship.

Let’s take a look back at 21 of the most classic DCOM songs from our childhood that we all still know the lyrics to (no shame).

1. "Supernova Girl"-Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century

This song still makes our hearts go boom, boom, boom. We all wished it were us at that concert, with the frosted tipped blonde heartthrob Proto Zoa singing to us.

2. "Notice Me"- Pixel Perfect

We all knew Sam wrote this song about Roscoe, since he was too busy crushing on his holographic rockstar creation, Loretta, to see that they were perfect for each other! I still ship them.

3. "More Than Me"-Stuck in the Suburbs

Continuing with the frosted tipped blonde heartthrob theme, Jordan Cahill was no doubt everyone’s crush. A bad boy popstar-turned-good boy who saves a local landmark, he was a total hunk to our 8 year old selves (and still now too, of course).

4. "Push It to the Limit"-Jump In

From a basketball star in HSM to a jumprope pro in Jump In, plus a singer and dancer, is there anything Corbin Bleu can’t do?! This song will always be a pump up jam.

5. "The Galaxy is Ours"-Zenon the Zequel

Another hit from the out-of-this-world cutie Proto Zoa in yet another Zenon movie. Peep the “fabulo” space lingo we thought was so cool.

6. "Determinate"-Lemonade Mouth

Even though this DCOM came out when we were a bit older, we still loved it, wishing we were in the band. Bridget Mendler killed it in this slow ballad-turned-pop jam.

7. "Go Figure"-Go Figure

The super catchy title song for the movie that made us all want to be figure skaters and hockey players.

8. "On the Ride"-Cowbelles

We all cringed when Aly and AJ threw the towel on the boiling pot and burned the whole house down. This song makes us want to hug our family and best friends and never let them go.

9. "What Dreams Are Made Of"-The Lizzie McGuire Movie

I know we were all ~shook~ when Lizzie and Isabella exposed Paolo for the fake singer he truly was, and so proud of Lizzie for singing in front of the whole world and KILLING it. “Sing to me Paolo” will always be one of the best movie lines of all time.

10. "Introducing Me"-Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam

Nick Jonas was, and always will be, SUCH a cutie, and we were so proud that he finally had his own song! We thought we were so cool singing as fast as Nick in that final verse, and not gonna lie, still feel pretty darn cool even though we now can rap Nicki Minaj and Eminem.

11. "Get a Clue"-Get a Clue

This song made us want to jump around and rock out. This was the ultimate sleuthing movie, starring the fabulous Lindsay Lohan and Brenda Song.

12. "Rush"-Twitches

Another classic Aly and AJ jam, hearing the song instantly makes us think of finding our long lost twin sister and fighting evil together in the magical land of Coventry.

13. "Bet on It"-High School Musical 2

No one knew Zac had it in him, but he managed to dance his way through a golf course in one of the most iconic musical numbers in Disney history. We loved Zac’s passion and anger and sass, and still retweet memes made from his sassy walk and odd hand gestures.

14. "One Girl Revolution"-Cadet Kelly

Who didn’t want to join a drill team after watching Cadet Kelly? This song and drill routine were full of girl power and teamwork, and we were highkey happy the two girls finally got along.

15. "Cinderella"-The Cheetah Girls

This cheetahlicious song is probably the most uplifting girl power song Disney has ever released. I still wish I had their iconic early 2000’s costumes with that cheetah flare.

16. "Dream Vacation"-The Even Stevens Movie

This movie made being stranded on an island while filming a television show look a lot more fun than it probably is. This song gave us major summer feels.

17. "One in the Same"-Princess Protection Program

This was the ultimate bestie anthem for tweens everywhere.

18. "Outside Looking In"-Read it and Weep

We all found a way to relate to this fairly depressing song about not fitting in with everyone else and being left out. While we loved this movie, we couldn’t even imagine if our own journals were leaked out into the world and became bestsellers.

19. "Strut"-The Cheetah Girls 2

Hopping on a plane to Barcelona and strutting down the streets singing this song is definitely still on our bucket lists (with Angel playing the guitar, of course).

20. "Be a Star"-Life Size

This was the theme song to the beautiful and perfect Eve doll, played by Tyra Banks. We all wished our Barbie dolls could come to life, even though Eve caused quite a bit of damage when she was a human.

21. "It's My Turn Now"-Jump In

Yes, another song from Jump In that definitely pumped us up and made us believe in ourselves. Throwback to the velour tracksuit and big hoop earrings we all sported back in the day.

In the end, I think we can all agree that old school Disney was by far the best. I’m so thankful to have grown up with such classic movies, especially since their recent movies don’t even compare in the slightest.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
