If you are like me, you are obsessed with the show "Friends." It truly is an oldie, but a goody. I recently just finished watching all 10 seasons on Netflix and realized it shows what it is like to be in your 20s. This part of your life is all about change and learning how to be an adult. You are graduating from college, getting a job, getting married, starting a family or moving out of your parents' house. Within the 10 seasons, we see all the characters adjusting to life, some happily and others worrisome. Even though the first episode is now over 21 years old, the show still shows what it is like as a 20-something.

1. Moving can be stressful, especially when your apartment doesn't have an elevator.

2. Not needing your parents' help with money. Well, for the most part.

3. Watching your friends turn 30 and not realizing you will be there soon yourself. When you do turn 30, you feel old and emotional like our good friend Joey here.

4. When takeout becomes your friend.

5. When your coworkers eat your food (and your friends have a sarcastic comment in return).

6. When you ride with your friend who is still a crazy driver.

7. When you become comfortable in your own skin.

8. The numerous weddings you attend.

9. All the flirting. Whether or not you even realize you are doing it or not.

10. When someone brags about how well they are doing.

11. You during all your 20s.

12. When your friends set you up.

13. You still act like kids when you are around your friends though.

14. That one annoying person you all hate.

15. Bills. All of the bills.

16. Getting a pet.

17. Finding the love of your life.

18. Overall, each character has taught us different things. It is OK to be yourself and we are all in this together.

There are numerous things we learned in "Friends," and numerous things we can relate to. While it is just a TV show, after 10 seasons it felt that they were part of our friend group. People in their 20s can relate to numerous aspects throughout the seasons. All the humor just added to the appeal of the show. If you are anything like me, humor is an important part of my life. Adding humor to life events make things easier. So, whether you are just starting your 20s or are well into your 50s, there are certainty aspects of "Friends" that you can relate to. Throughout the show there were marriages, divorces, adopting, giving birth for your own kids, surrogacy, dating your friends, and everything else that you can relate to.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
