This year was a whirlwind of different emotions and events, and I know there are a lot of people out there that would agree with me. Whether it was falling in love, out of love, or trying to figure out what the heck you're supposed to be doing with your life, everyone's got something they need to learn from in 2017 that they're going to change in 2018.
1. Stop caring about what other people think.
It's time to stop worrying about what other people think about the clothes we wear and how we look to other people and just be happy with yourself. Don't let that stupid boy make you feel any less of yourself.
2. Live a healthier lifestyle.
As we get older, living healthier becomes more and more important. Diet and exercise are both things that need to be priorities in 2018 in order to feel and look better.
3. Have a workout regimen.
We all know how hard it can be to get ourselves to the gym. taking a little time out of each day to exercise in 2018 will make us all feel that much better and healthier than ever.
4. Enjoy time with friends.
Enjoy your best friends. College, and life, in general, goes by so quickly and you may never get this much time to hang out with your friends in the future; take advantage of the time you have now.
5. Focus on myself.
2018 is a year to accomplish all of my goals and do what's best for me.
6. Don't let past events affect the future.
Don't let what that boy said about you or that breakup affect the rest of your life. I know it hurts, but you owe yourself more than worrying about what happened in the past and letting it affect your future.
7. Cherish time with family.
Spend some more time with family members this year, You never know when you could lose a loved one and how fast time goes by.
8. Enjoy school.
Enjoy your time left in college or high school; it goes by way too quickly.
9. Stop being so hard on myself.
Appreciate yourself and don't let other people affect the way you want to live your life.
10. be a better version of myself.
2018 is the year to be the best me and to be the best you.
I know all of this sounds pretty cliche but I promise if all of these things change about the year ahead it will be one of the best years yet. it's time do focus on me, to focus on you, and to do what is best for yourselves and stop worrying about other people. Bring it on 2018, I can't wait to see what you have in store.
