It's November. It's almost Thanksgiving, and before you know it, it'll be Christmas Day. Maybe you've been down on yourself because you didn't accomplish all that you wanted to in 2018.

Well, I have good news: you still have two months to make your goals a reality.

Now, you may be thinking, "I can't accomplish anything now. It's almost the holidays. I'm going to be stressed, broke, and eating too many potatoes in my Thanksgiving sweats."

And while all of that might be true, there are so many opportunities this time of year to make your days count. Look back at those New Years Resolutions, or even just the goals you set for yourself, and decide which ones mean the most to you. Now, really dedicate yourself to making these happen before we ring in 2019!

Again, you may be thinking, "Easier said than done." And while you have a point, I say anything can be done if you put you heard and mind into it. You can also ask yourself a few questions to begin reflecting and regrouping.

1. First things first, take a day to reflect on the year; acknowledge the positive moments:

What went well? What did you accomplish? What did you do that surprised yourself? Did you step out of your comfort zone? When were you the happiest? Who makes you the happiest? Did you take enough time for yourself?

2. Next, reflect on what you can do better:

What made you upset? What did you struggle with? Did any major events happen that made you feel low? What made you feel discouraged? Did you experience loss in any way? What distracted you? How did you bounce back from bad days?

3. Look at your goals and resolutions.

Can you cross any off? Which ones are left? Which ones are the most important to you right now?

4. Decide how you will accomplish them.

Make a new list of the goals and resolutions you want to accomplish before 2019. Tell yourself that you can do it. Let your family and friends know your intentions so they can support you, too.

Create a plan. Get yourself motivated.

It's so easy to get discouraged when we don't accomplish what we want quickly. Remember, all good things take time. Life happens.

But you can do this. You can accomplish your goals. Believe in yourself.

Reflect. Regroup. Accomplish.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
